Does anyone, who supported McCain-Feingold, still believe that "campaign finance reform" really took the money out of politics and delivered a promised "cleaner" election? Just another example of why we must not look to governemnt for the solutions to our problems. The fate of our nation rides tomorrow on the shoulders of the well informed, the less informed, the lazy, the dead and the family pet--all of whom are expected to turn out in record numbers. Note, the dead are notoriously rigid democratic voters. Family pets are slightly less so, as best research finds pets voting ruffly 75% democrat.
